Jéan specialises in commercial, property transactions and corporate recoveries. Jéan also has a High and Magistrates’ Court litigation practice in which he is assisted by the candidate attorneys.

Gioanni handles Magistrates’ Court litigation, evictions and municipal litigation and collections. He heads up the Insolvency Department and deals with both insolvency litigation and administration.

Riaan De Lange of De Lange Attorneys specialises in Labour Law and Labour Relations, and Appropriate Dispute Resolution. He appears at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils & Labour Court, and often presides in disciplinary hearings. Riaan lectures at the University of Cape Town, School of Legal Practice as part of training for candidate attorneys in (i) Labour Dispute Resolution and (ii) Appropriate Dispute Resolution. He is registered with the Law Society of South Africa as Education, Training and Development (ETD) Practitioner as part of the Legal Education & Development Program accredited by SASSETA. De Lange Attorneys works in association with Laäs & Scholtz.

Francois completed his articles in Bloemfontein at Vermaak & Dennis Attorneys, after obtaining a B.Proc degree at the University of the Freestate in 1994. He was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary (1995) in Cape Town High Court. In 1995 he started his own firm in Tygervalley, Durbanville, called Kruger Slabber Esterhuyse Attorneys.

Francois practices for his own account and serves as consultant at Laäs & Scholtz. He specialises in property law, new developments, contracts, tax law & conveyancing and related matters.
